So far I’ve only visited Spain once, from May 13 until May 19 2010. During that trip I spent a few days in Barcelona and a day in Madrid. Anyone who has ever been there knows that 1 week is way too short to pay a proper visit and enjoy these great cities and this beautiful country, but I did my best. There’s a lot you can do and see in a few days time though, and of course I’ll share those stories here with you all.
The following stories about my trip to Spain have been published:
- Guernica (Madrid)
- Casa Milà/La Pedrera (Barcelona)
From May 13 until May 17 I was in Barcelona, where I spent most of my time with friends on the beach. Besides the sun, sea and sangría we also saw FC Barcelona win La Liga (the Spanish competition), we visited Gaudi’s Casa Milá/ La Pedrera and Park Güell
From May 17 until May 19 2010 I had a very short, but pleasant stay in Madrid. I spent most of Tuesday walking in the lovely sun outside and visiting some museums. On Wednesday the 19th it was already time for me to leave again, but luckily I had a little bit of time that morning to rush to the Reina Sofia museum and see Picasso’s famous Guernica painting.
